Introduction:
“St. John’s University is Catholic, Vincentian, Metropolitan and Global”
As a member of the St. John’s University’s community we often come across many symbols of Vincentian heritage. More often than not, we do not know what the histories of these objects are and what they symbolize.

Purpose :
The purpose of this digital library is to educate the St. John’s University community about the significance and meaning of the various objects on the Queens campus. In doing so, this digital library strives to not only promote Vincentian values but to illustrate the social justice component to which the object symbolizes. The end goal is to encourage reflection and contemplation of what it truly means to be a part of the Vincentian family.
